Cleaning the tile grout is not an easy job, especially when humidity is permanently present in the room and mold deposits occur constantly. It happens often in my bathroom because I don’t have a window and it’s difficult to ventilate the room. So, mold appears and easily starts to grow between the tiles. At some point I thought that there is no other solution than selling the house. But, I’m glad I found it and it costs a dime!
You need:
- 3 parts of bleach
- 1 part of baking soda
Mix the ingredients until homogenization. You have to obtain a paste. With the help of an old toothbrush, apply the paste over the tile joints and let it work for 10-15 minutes.
Then rub the joints with the brush, especially in areas where you have noticed mold deposits.
At the end, rinse thoroughly with cold water to remove any trace of bleach.
