The hood is one of the dirtiest appliances found in your home, and the hood filters are even dirtier because they are filled with grease. As a tip: don’t let the grease and dust gather on your hood because it will be much difficult to remove afterwards.
Stuck grease on hood filters and the dust accumulated on the outside of hood can be easily removed if you clean them once every two weeks, and the following natural recipe is especially created to solve this dirty problem.
You will need:
- 1/2 cup of baking soda
- 1/2 cup of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of vinegar
- 1/2 gal of water
Method of preparation:
Add all the above ingredients into a container, mix well, then let it stand for a few minutes. You will notice that there will be a chemical reaction after mixing, but don’t get scared because it’s normal. Once it stops the solution is ready to use.
Now, soak the hood filters in this solution and let them stand for 1 hour. After, remove and rinse them with cold water.
Use the same solution to clean the hood on the outside using the abrasive side of a dish sponge. Rub thoroughly until the greasy dust is removed!
