How to remove makeup stains out of clothes

Nothing is more annoying than ruining your clothes with makeup stains. You must admit that it happened to you at least once, when a favorite dress or shirt was thrown away as new because of makeup stains.

Fortunately, most makeup stains can be removed with the right solutions and little patience.

Liquid foundation

Foundation stains are the most common. Generally, you risk staining collars and scarves. Liquid foundation can be removed easily with detergent dissolved in water. Most foundations have in their composition different oily ingredients, so removal will be easier with detergent.

You accidentally touched your boyfriend shirt with lipstick? No problem. Spray hairspray on the stain and let it act 10 minutes, rinse the stain and put the clothes on the washing machine as usual.

Another solution would be to use alcohol. Dab alcohol on a clean cloth and wipe the lipstick stain, then put clothes on the washing machine as usual.

Mascara stains are very persistent, whether we are talking about regular mascara, whether we are talking about waterproof mascara. The best thing would be to pour a little cleanser on a cotton disk and patiently dissolve the mascara stain. Clean the dirt with detergent.

In order to get rid of bronzer stains on clothes you have to soak the dirty area in cold water then rub the material with dishwasher detergent.
For small bronzer stains, you can also use lemon juice.

Nail polish

If you stained your clothes with nail polish, you can simply remove them. Use solvent then clean the area with detergent.

Hair dye

Last but not least, if you stained your clothes with hair dye, you must use vinegar. Make a solution of one cup of water, 1 teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and 2 tablespoons of vinegar and apply it on the stain. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
