Natural Solutions To Remove Stains Quickly From Leather Upholstery

Leather upholstery is the most demanding and hardest to clean. It dirt’s quickly, and if you don’t act immediately or don’t use the right solution, the results can be disastrous.

Remove ink and Sharpie stains
Often, leather sofas and armchairs are messed up by children with pens or Sharpies. If you wipe them quickly, the stain will be easily removed. If it’s suede then use some rubbing alcohol to remove the stain. And if the stain is old on leather upholstery you can use cleanser. It will remove the stain quickly and won’t attack the fabric.

Chewing gum
Chewing gum can easily be removed if you put on it an ice cube. When it hardens, you can lift it gently with your hand without having to use the knife or other abrasive materials that can damage the leather.

Food and other type of stains
For food or drink stains you can make a homemade magic solution that will clean your leather couch immediately. Add in a bowl 200 ml of vinegar, 100 ml of olive oil and 10 drops of essential orange oil.
Use white paper towels to clean the entire leather upholstery.

Vinegar will quickly clean dirt, while olive oil acts as a leather softener.
