Last summer my sister-in-law went crazy when she stained her favorite dress with wax. She thought the dress was ruined, because, even if you remove the hardened wax it still remains those oily stains on the fabric.
But, along comes Sally with the saving solution and to avoid a big fashionista crisis.
If you find yourself between the above lines, then you should follow the next 4 steps to remove the wax from your clothes effortlessly.
- a sharp knife
- a paper towel or a white sheet
- the iron
Leave the wax to dry and hardened well. It will take a while, but only then can you begin the cleaning process.
Remove the wax surplus with the knife. Insist until there is no solid wax on the material.
Apply a paper towel over the stain and lightly press with the hot iron until the wax melts. The paper will absorb the wax as it melts. Move the paper periodically when you notice that melt wax is absorb on it. Repeat the process until the paper remains clean.
Wait for the material to cool down and wash it normally with a special stain-remove laundry detergent.
