A mattress with urine stains will always create problems when it comes to cleaning it. It’s a smelly liquid that can change a room ambiance, especially when it permeates the mattress.

Children are prone to such “incidents”, especially babies left without diapers on mattresses without protective cover.
A mattress stained with urine can become highly problematic if is not cleaned in time.
Thus, experts have searched all sorts of ways to get rid of this kind of stains and odors.
Here are 2 methods to get rid of the unbearable urine stains from the mattress:

I. Homemade cleaning solution 1
Mix 8 drops of hydrogen peroxide, 3 tablespoons of baking soda and a few drops (3-4) of liquid dishwashing detergent. Stir until baking soda dissolves completely. Pour the concoction through a funnel into a plastic spray bottle.
Spray the solution over the urine stain and wait its penetration into the mattress. Please note! The solution is effective for a short period of time and needs to be applied within 5 minutes after preparation.
Wait for the surface to dry completely. Finally, vacuum any remaining residue from the mattress surface.

II. Homemade cleaning solution 2
Mix vinegar with liquid soap. Mixing ratio must be 2/1. Thus, for a cup of vinegar use half a cup of liquid soap.
Wait half an hour for the solution to penetrate the mattress.
Use a clean sponge to absorb the solution from the mattress, then you can use a vacuum cleaner.
Sprinkle baking soda over the stain to absorb the remaining moisture.
After baking soda has dried completely, vacuum any remaining debris on the mat.
