A mattress with urine stains will always create problems when it comes to cleaning it. It’s a smelly liquid that can change a room ambiance, especially when it goes deep inside the mattress.

A mattress stained with urine can become highly problematic if is not cleaned rapidly. Experts have searched all sorts of ways to get rid of this kind of stains and odors.
Here are 2 methods to get rid of the unbearable urine stains from the mattress:
I. Homemade cleaning solution 1
Mix 8 drops of hydrogen peroxide, 3 tablespoons of baking soda and a few drops (3-4) of liquid dishwashing detergent. Stir until baking soda dissolves completely. Pour the resulting mix through a funnel into a plastic spray bottle.
Spray the solution over the urine stain and wait until it penetrates the mattress. Please note! The solution is effective for a short period of time and needs to be applied within 5 minutes after preparation.
Wait until the surface dries completely. Finally, vacuum any remaining residue from the mattress.
II. Homemade cleaning solution 2
Mix vinegar with liquid soap. Mixing ratio must be 2/1. Thus, for a cup of vinegar use half a cup of liquid soap.
Wait half an hour for the solution to penetrate the mattress.
Use a clean sponge to absorb the solution from the mattress, then you can use a vacuum cleaner.
In order to absorb the remaining moisture, sprinkle baking soda over the stain.
After baking soda has dried completely, vacuum any remaining debris on the mat.
